Consumer Portal: Better-Looking and Easier to Access

Consumer Portal is seamlessly integrated within your storefront, working flawlessly on desktop and mobile devices. This means customers can log in directly from your storefront and pay for items without having to jump to a different site. 

​

More Consumer Portal updates: 

• Not every email address ends in .com anymore; Consumer Portal now accepts all valid email domains. Everyone can easily register and manage their rentals online!

• The Tracking tab now uses Google Maps. You’ll see more accurate locations and familiar visuals, making realtime rental tracking clearer.

Multi-Store Admins Rejoice!

If you’re running multiple locations, your HQ company can now manage Consumer Portal across the entire organization. Way easier than the old one-by-one updates (which you can still use, if needed).

Send QuikLinks via SMS

Get paid faster by texting your customers QuikLinks for payment. Requires a Twilio integration.

Overdue Items Warnings

We’ll warn you if a customer with overdue items starts a new rental or reservation, so you can settle things before more items go out.

Smarter Supercharger

We’ve helped Supercharger’s API better identify and populate item specs like height, weight, length, and width. To increase accountability, we’re also flagging when Supercharger is used to update an item’s details in the edit history.

AI Prompt Box for Email Templates:
Build/update your email templates directly from the email template screen. Choose a tone and get started! Existing tags remain intact, so messages stay formatted correctly. Learn how to build email templates with AI.

Payments Updates

Cross-Store Tokenization Updates

Some processors don’t support cross-store tokenization for credit cards (notably, Stripe). To align with those processors’ requirements, POR Pay stored payment tokens can now only be used at the store where they were initially captured. This update does not affect GPI or Elavon customers.

​

Special Rates for Credit Card Fees

You can now set special credit card fee rates for specific customers, allowing for discounts or exemptions. Set it in the sell price field on the special rate screen; that value corresponds to the percentage that will be charged. To exempt a customer, enter 0.00.

Select and save your cloud printers directly within the settings for Mass Fax/Email, Day at a Glance, and automatic reports. Enjoy smoother, more flexible printing operations, no matter what you’re needing to print.

Elite Transactions Now Time Zone Aware

Operating stores across time zones? You can now assign a time zone to each of your stores. Elite will display the store’s time zone in both the contract processing screen at the top right and at the bottom of the printed contract. If a contract’s store is changed to one that has a different time zone, Elite will warn you.

Retokenize Email Passwords in Operator Tools

If you use an email account with OAuth credentials, you can now retokenize the password directly in Operator Tools, reducing reauthentication requests to admins. Here’s how.

Sales Rate Adjustments

In the Rental Rate Adjustment Tool, you can now update sales rates! Learn more about rate adjustments on uLearn.

Issues that are no longer issues:

• Every single one of your open contracts, regardless of its balance, will proudly appear in your Consumer Portal. Previously, some zero-balance contracts were disappearing.

• Ready Tags are now only generated when an item is returned on a contract, resolving an issue that created them after voiding a reservation.

Samsara: Faster Syncing & Jobsite Address Updates

When a job site address changes, we’ll automatically delete the old, outdated one to clean up your records for more reliable, smoother dispatching. If you’re using Samsara GPS, you can also now get fleet updates every minute for near-realtime tracking. See how to set it up. 

Hapn: Quick Access

Elite’s left menu now has a ‘Launch Hapn’ option for quick access to your GPS map with all your tracked devices, depending on the user’s security level. Learn all about the Hapn integration.

bidadoo: Better Selling Requests

When you click ‘Sell with bidadoo’ on an item record, we’ll automatically populate the email to make it clear which item you’d like to sell and who’s selling it. We’ll even add the current machine hours when we have ‘em. 

​

Rouse: Rates Adjustments

In the Rental Rate Adjustment Tool, you can use the Rouse Rates option to update your book rates on rental items with the Rate Average, pulled from Rouse. 

​

Intacct: Erasing Errors

No longer do you run the risk of an errored-out journal entry posting to Intacct. We’ll check to see if an entry already exists in Intacct after an error, eliminating those pesky duplicate entries.
